“Time for Successful Women” - European PROGRES Grants for Women’s Business Start-Ups

European PROGRES programme info sessions on grants for women’s business start-ups entitled “Time for Successful Women” will be held in Vranje, Niš, Leskovac, Blace, Ivanjica, Nova Varoš and Novi Pazar from 26 March to 8 April 2015..

The information sessions are organised to familiarise future women entrepreneurs and representatives of the relevant institutions with all the grant application stages and steps they need to take – from applying and participating in the public call for proposals to the award of grants for women’s business start-ups, which will not be limited to any types of activity.

All interested applicants will be provided with information about the process, which will begin with their application for training on the preparation of business plans. The training will be followed by a public call for proposals within which the applicants will be able to submit their project proposals for European PROGRES’ grants.

Women entrepreneurs, who have already successfully launched their own businesses thanks to grants approved under the prior three-year EU PROGRES programme, will also address the info session participants.

The invitation is open to all unemployed women registered with the National Employment Service who are permanently residing in one of the 34 local self-governments participating in the implementation of European PROGRES activities.

The information sessions mark the onset of a number of preparatory activities to be implemented by European PROGRES in the March-July 2015 period. These activities will be followed by the selection of the best entrepreneurial projects, which will be granted funding for the launch of at least 40 businesses owned by women.
